IN HOUSE
BOARDING
Occasionally we
have individuals who request their pet stay in our home.
Your pet will
join our family, including our dog, in our home.
He or she will
part of our daily routine and have access to our lap, our main yard
and be a part of our family routine for its entire stay with
us.
Pets must be properly housetrained,
trustworthy (not chew the furniture), get along well with
other animals and must not go over 6 foot fences for this service.
Please ask for
Gina if this is the style of board you would like.
The nightly fee
is $50.00 for this level of service.
Geriatric
As a CPCT,
certified pet care technician, as well as a breeder for over
30 years I have a depth of experience in all stages of a
dogs life from birth to the geriatric years, not found in
most pet lodging establishments. Just like our human Senior
citizens, older dogs have special needs and requirements.
We have special
areas for our senior guests. They are specially monitored
and exercised to keep them limber and mobile. Water and Food
intake, urine and stool output monitored very closely. We
are perfectly capable of administering medications and will
do it according to your veterinarians instructions. We can
give insulin injections.
Puppies
Sometimes it is
necessary to board your puppy. We keep puppies in a
separate area from the adult dogs. This allows us to
continually monitor and bring the puppy outside for potty
breaks, reinforcing and providing consistency for
housetraining. Keeping a watchful eye on them at all times!
Young puppies need 3 meals as opposed to 2 and plenty of
guidance, structured playtime and naptimes and of course
socialization!
Aggressive Dogs
Occasionally we
run across pets that have special handling needs. They are
rescue individuals that have trust or aggression problems.
They get along fine at home but might be a little aggressive
while you are not there. You cannot leave them home alone,
and you cannot have a stranger come to take care of them on
their own turf...it sometimes is a problem. It is always
hard to find persons willing or able to handle those dogs.
If you have a
special needs pet. One that requires special handling skills
please call and ask for Gina. Our facility is perfectly
designed to accommodate your pet, all the while keeping it
safe and secure.
