Our Dogz Day care is 7 days a week! There are many reasons you may need such a service aside from the one mentioned above...workman will be in and around your house, you are having a party, new concrete, ANY reason that you may need a 'dog sitter' for the day.
After a day at Dogz Day Care many pets are relaxed, their excess energy has been burned off. The popularity of dog day care and dog parks have made many dogs 'social butterflies'. Dogs are pack animals, they enjoy the company of other dogs, group play fulfills some basic needs while you are at work or play.
Our day care service is especially tailored to meet your dogs needs.
Our drop off time starts at 7:30 am. Pick up times are until 6:00 pm. Monday-Friday, as many days as you would like per week or daily.
Rates are $20.25 per day. You must bring your pets food if you wish it fed here.
Discounted daily rates are available for persons using the service more than 3 x per week.
Activities
Our play sessions start first thing in the morning right after arrival. Our Day Care dogs go right into the play area.
If you have a large breed of dog with a bloat risk we ask that you DO NOT feed your pet prior to arrival.
7:30 to 11:30 AM Playtime
12:00 to 3:00 PM Feeding and Nap time
3:30 to 4:30 PM Playtime & PM meal
4:30 to 6:00 PM Playtime
The weather may be a factor, we do put the dogs out in between showers or light drizzle, we do not put dogs out to play during thunderstorms or heavy rain. Muddy feet are not an issue.
We will make sure that everyone is clean before you pick up. If you would like to take advantage of our optional services we can bathe your dog and trim nails while they are here.
Our guests always have fresh water available and we use common sense during the hottest parts of the day. When the temperatures rise we put out the puppy pool for a quick swim, then nap the dogs. Naptime is in the kennels where they are free to go in/out or are in the climate controlled area during the extreme temperatures.
Run sizes are 3x5 inside and 3x10 outside, with a roof that will shade them from the afternoon sun. We often catch them napping out doors.
While most pets prefer the company of the other dogs, some prefer to explore the yard for the first couple sessions, others prefer to interact with the attendant, who is always in attendance or close by during playtime. Activities range from fetch and group play to pool time. The most fun of all is watching them play games amongst themselves, they actually create their own entertainment . We have one day care guest who will throw the ball for her companions and the race is on to see who gets it first!
