By far the most common questions we get are...

"What does your service include?"

or

"What do you does my dog do there?"

Here is a run down of the daily activities WE and the dogs do.  Keep in mind some of them are optional services.

7:30 a.m. Good Morning!  Outdoor Exercise ~ Breakfast is served
Each dog is let out to relieve themselves. Then served the food he or she is used to eating, in the amount specified by the owner. We start cleaning the kennels inside and out. Food dishes are down until 9:00 AM  We are usually done with our feeding and cleaning procedures about 10-10:30AM
9:00 a.m. Outdoor Exercise Time/Play groups
The dogs are let out into their outside runs.  We give them time to digest their food prior to play group or any strenuous play (winter playgroups continue but for shorter periods at more frequent intervals) Play group in the big yards are an optional service.
10:00 a.m. to  to 12:00 p.m.

Tours given 10:30 to 11:00

Potty Break, Cookie Break and Puppy Love

Monday-Saturday

Guests scheduled for group play are divided up into size and age appropriate groups and we start our group sessions. We have 4 different areas that we utilize depending on breed, age and activity level.
12:00 p.m. Lunch Time/Doggie Nap Time
While most dogs do not eat a mid-day meal, some do require it (puppies) and we will gladly serve it if necessary.  Then, from 12 Noon until. 3:00 p.m. it's soft music and lights out for a refreshing nap. If the weather is nice, 58 F and above, our doors are open and the dogs choose their nap area.
3:00-4:00 p.m. Feeding time for 2 x per day feedings. Potty Break, Outdoor Exercise or Play groups, food is down until 4 PM, we are doing another maintenance check in all runs, refilling water dishes, bathing dogs...trimming nails, brushing or trimming some of our guests (optional services)...start putting out play groups.
Summertime they are free to go in and out as they please, wintertime the doors are not open, because we heat the building. We do Air Condition the buildings as well.
Cookie Break for those without mid day feeding and Puppy Love for all

4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Playtime groups are being alternated and guests are arriving and those whom are going home, are departing...
Most dogs eat only one meal a day at home; however,  you may prefer to serve their daily food in two meals.  For those who are not scheduled to eat we put out into play groups.

Tours Given 5:00 to 5:30  Monday through Friday

6:00 to 9:00 TLC /Play Time/Wind Down/alternating play groups

9:00 p.m. Lights Out!  a Treat is passed out and Bedtime!
Having enjoyed a full day, our guests are ready for a good night' sleep in our comfortable, climate controlled facility.

SPECIAL NOTE: It is very common for dogs who have participated in the playgroup activities to have a 'recovery' period when they get home. They may sleep more than usual for a couple days because of the increased exercise they get while here. Some, depending on their physical fitness may have sore muscles! There is no need for concern, this is normal behavior.

Most pets sleep while the owners are at work...the most active part of the day is when you get home. While here, the opposite is true...they are very active during the daytime hours...between playgroups and access to their indoor/outdoor run at any time they choose, they get plenty of exercise. They only nap during our nap time.

Kennel Tour

The pictures below are of the interior and exterior of the kennels.  We have two  kennel buildings each building contains those Individual Indoor/Outdoor runs we spoke of.  Each pet is has his/her own area.  We never double up dogs from different families.

North Building

Inside view down the middle of building, from both ends. There are 10 runs on each side of structure each has a corresponding outdoor run. The building is heated, air conditioned or the guests are free to go in/out as they please. Specially designed Multi dog run shown on the left...VERY roomy for those families with multiple pets or Giant Breeds.
Regular run is 3 x 5, the outdoor run is 3 x 10.  All runs are 6 foot high, there are some covered for climbers. Note: There are several runs that have privacy panels on both sides. This run does not, designed for families with multiple pets they want separated, but side by side so they can see each other
Interior  & exterior view of our multiple pet run.  This run measures 7 x 5 inside and 10 x 15 outside.  It serves multiple pets comfortably.  You may bring your pet's own bed or pillow, there is no additional charge.
A roof covers all the outdoor portion of the runs to protect from rain, sun, and privacy fencing for privacy and wind break During comfortable weather conditions the dogs are free to go in or out at will, which is anytime the temps are above 55 degrees
Our dog tub. We bathe all guests that have been here 5 days or longer or those who participated in Group Play...just to get any mud or dog goobers off of them...
South Building
Our south building is almost a twin of our North building with a couple of exceptions. This building has ceramic tile floor, higher ceilings and features privacy runs for each pet. Those privacy runs eliminate any 'neighbor' issues or 'fence fighting'.

It is also heated, air conditioned or the guests are free to go in/out as they please.

In my home care... We offer in home boarding for special needs pets.

Zak the kitty, one of our guests on a walk-about. Kitties  stay in my home, they have a kitty condo and are let out individually daily for a stroll or play with the staff.  The room is 20 x 30 and is secure and a dog free zone.
<< Main yard for geriatric pets <<Regular play yard for large younger pets

<<Toy breed and geriatric exercise yards are separate from big dogs and young dogs. Each measures 25 x 25, we also let the geriatric guests out into the main yard.

<Large breed and Group Play yard, measures 80 x 80, is surrounded by 6 foot privacy fencing or chain link. Dogs participate in group play all year round.
