Sue DeWulff
I have
been fortunate to be involved with my passion of
dogs for over twenty years.
My
canine career began in 1988 as a puppy caregiver for
a small family owned pet shop.
In 1989
I purchased my first Golden Retriever, realizing a
childhood dream of breeding puppies.
Invaluable insight into dog behavior has accumulated
through many hours observing mother dogs with their
puppies.
While
rearing sound/well balanced puppies was always of
utmost importance, I pursued greater knowledge.
My
motivation for achieving excellence in this endeavor
took me on a journey of research, study, classes, and
seminars from dog massage to formal training.
Having
successfully trained multiple dogs to upper
competition levels in obedience and agility, I have
gained the experience for teaching others to train
their pets.
My
knowledge of the physical care and needs of dogs was
acquired by working as a veterinarian assistant for
an Animal Hospital.
While
working as a dog handler for a professional
photographic company, I was able to gather insight
in a dog’s natural behavior and response.
Having
experienced the large group play daycare facilities,
I am most comfortable with the play style Shores
Kennels provides for your pet’s best interest.
Now
retired from breeding and showing, I continue to
enjoy keeping company with canines.
