Our staff is our
greatest asset. Each hand picked over many applicants, when we
decide to enhance our staff. Every person brings a gentle hand,
soothing voice, and has demonstrated a natural ability to handle dogs
and cats, in addition they all are caring and in tune to our guests
and display the necessary passion for animals.
You will find them
working with the dogs with a smile on their face. Each person you meet
here, Loves what they do!

BIO
My first job at the age of 15
was right here at Shores Kennels...36
years of doing what I LOVE to do. Not many people are that
lucky! I live on the premises and over see day to day operations.
I am experienced in handling all breeds of dogs and cats, in all stages
of their lives from newborn to geriatric. Breeder of purebred Cocker
Spaniels, Golden Retrievers and Vizsla.
I mostly work a
45 day straight schedule and hand off to Donna or Marika, while I
take a break.

Donna
has been a friend and employee for a long time now. I first met here
when she boarded her pets with us!
She is a
great handler and trainer and a wonderful work partner and friend.
She now lives in the Grand Rapids area but fills in for me every few
weeks when I take a break.

Matt, has grown up
around dogs. He is my son. He divides his work week up
and works for Patterson Veterinary Hospital when he is not here.
He is a gentle giant and the dogs
respond to his gentle nature and soft touch. |

Marika is a college
student and fills in office duty when I take a day off here and
there. |

started here in the summer of 09 she works part time on the morning
shift. Julie is meticulous and observant and a valued part of our
staff. |
